Can I get a Physio during lockdown?

The short answer to this is YES. The options you have in terms of how this treatment takes place (in your own home, in our clinic or via telephone/online consultation) may vary depending on the Government and Chartered Society of Physiotherapy guidance at the time and your own personal health as TK Physio will never put you at risk.

Please contact us to find out how you can still access Physio during this time.

We can assure you that TK Physio are implementing all of the guidance regarding PPE, additional cleaning and not having clients waiting or passing however if you would like to find out more about how we are working during Covid-19 please do not hesitate to contact us.

Can Physiotherapy help me?

Physiotherapy is beneficial to many people with many different conditions which are to numerous to mention so please have a look through our website to see the services that we offer. However if your specific condition is not mentioned that does not mean that physio would not benefit you so please get in touch to check how we can help by emailing info@tkphysio.co.uk or using our contact page.

How much does Physiotherapy cost?

Our costs differ depending on whether the appointment is in our clinic or in your own home and the length of the appointment required. All of this will be assessed and advised on an individual basis so please contact us and we will be happy to provide you with all the information you need.

How many Physio sessions will I need?

This is a difficult question to answer as all illness, injuries and people are very different. However what TK Physio can tell you is that we will be open and honest with you regarding our recommendations and we will never keep you coming longer or more frequently than is necessary.

Can Physiotherapy help arthritis?

YES. Physio can help people living with arthritis, deterioration in mobility and function is not something you just need to accept. While, unfortunately, we cannot cure it we can certainly put in place a bespoke movement and exercise plan to improve/maintain your movement and function. Arthritis Action state that “Exercise has even been proven to help reduce the pain of arthritis and improve function.”

How do I book a Physio appointment?

What should I wear to physio?

You should wear comfortable clothing that is easy to move around in. Depending on the specifics of your condition there may be other requirements, such as footwear, however TK Physio will inform you of this at the time of booking your appointment.

Can I have someone in attendance with me?

If you have a relative, friend or carer you would like to attend with you this can be arranged. All that we ask is that you inform us before your appointment.

What are my appointment options?

TK Physio provide physiotherapy appointments in your own home, in our clinic or using online/telephone consultations. The appointment type which is most suitable for you will depend on your own personal circumstances.

I have difficulty with my mobility can I get into the clinic?

TK Physio are passionate about ensuring that mobility will not be a barrier to accessing our services. Therefore, we are pleased to say that our clinic has private parking right at our door and has a ramped access into the clinic.

If you need assistance with getting into our clinic from a car, we are more than happy to assist you just speak to us at the time of booking if you think this may be required.
